Seminar Delegation World Cup 2010 South Africa
Preparing for the FIFA World Cup 2010™
Opportunity for sharing experience by establishing a collaboration network that will bring together the key stakeholders from South Africa and Germany in the fields of planning and implementing transport and security systems in preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2010™. The aim of the business forum is to jointly study best practice solutions, to promote dialogue and to work out solutions for the 2010 tournament.
Initiated by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology and InWEnt Capacity Building International Germany, the Bavarian Regional Centre will be offering a two week training partnership seminar "Technologies for Integrated Transport Solutions" in September 2007 for participants from the provinces of Western Cape, Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.
In addition to this seminar, the Centre for Transportation & Logistics (CNA) and the Chamber of Commerce of the Metropolitan Region of Nuernberg, in cooperation with PB-Consult, will be holding a two-day business forum on 17. and 18. September 2007 to establish a unique collaboration network between governmental and local authorities as well as private industry with world-wide experience in the field of public transport, traffic management and security for mega events.
The business forum will take place in Nuernberg, host city of the FIFA World Cup 2006™ and the Federation Cup 2005, which received awards for the best traffic guidance system in Europe.
The business forum will be held in English language.
