CNA goes international... At Bavaria´s new permanent representative office in the shadow of the European Parliament in Brussels, more than 100 experts from Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the United Kingdom and France discussed the state of development and applications of slab track in Europe. The patron of this first international slab track symposium was Dr Ingo Friedrich, Vice President of the European Parliament. In his welcoming address he said that the further promotion of slab track would make an important contribution towards achieving an infrastructure capable of guaranteeing the mobility required to enable the peoples of Europe to grow closer together.
